There is a lot of confusion as to sizes...

STANDARD: Preferred height for both male and female is 18 inches up to 23 inches at the top of the withers.

MINIATURE: Preferred height for both male and female is 14 1/2 inches up to 18 inches at the top of withers.

TOY: Preferred height for both male and female is 10 inches up to 14 inches at the top of the withers.

TEACUP: Under 10 inches
       ADSR does not have a TEACUP or MICRO AUSSIES class!!

It goes by height not weight!!
It should be mentioned that in all classifications of Australian Shepherd, quality is not to be sacrificed
in favor of size.

***Just a note about puppy photos.*** 

I always try to post current photos of my puppies. We normally do this about every 10 days. We will be happy to send you current photos and videos when you are picking out your puppy.
We have had a recent problem with new owners asking me to take new photos and or videos of there puppy everyday.  I'm sorry but I feel this is a little to much on the puppies.  Some puppy do not like having a big camera lens put in there face all the time. So puppy photos will be updated about every 10 day to the best of my ability.   

Do you Deliver?

Delivery is available by air or land. We have a pet nanny that will fly with our pups, we DO NOT ship puppies as cargo!
We also offer Door to Door doggy delivery. For trips under 12-14 hours Mike will drive your puppy to your house.  
We can all so Deliver overseas with a pet nanny not cargo.

What do you feed your puppies?

Well we make our own dog food.  Our one Aussies has always been a very picky eater. I had a very hard time keeping her weight right. So one day I wanted to see how hard it was to make homemade dog food.  We are on a farm after all, we raise our own chickens for eggs & meat along with pigs & veggie garden. I started making their food and found my dogs LOVE IT!!  After about 3 days I saw a big difference in all my dogs. I was sold on homemade dog food.
SO what's in it..... free range chicken, free range hard boiled eggs, rice or barley, oats, broth, broccoli, peas, carrots, green beans, honey and dog multiple vitamin powder.  
So what do the puppies eat?   half homemade half Purina Pro Plan Puppy Food.

At what age can you tell a puppies eye final color? 

Typically puppies begin to open their eyes at 10-14 days. Some may have blue eyes initially and gradually change to brown, amber or green.  Usually one can confirm final eye color at about 4 to 5 weeks. We do not guarantee eye color.

Do Aussies shed a lot? 

Some have more of a coat than others. Typically Aussies are minimal shedders in comparison with other breeds.  With the changing of the seasons particular times of the year the Aussies DO shed their undercoat (Fall to Winter and Winter into Spring). At this time we suggest brushing at least 2 times per week to minimize the shedding.  we recommend using a tool/brush called the FURminator.  It works by removing the dogs loose undercoat which in turn reduces shedding.

When can I pick up my puppy?

Your puppy can be pick up any time after they turn 8 weeks of age. Not one day before!! I have the right to keep a puppy an extra week if I feel the puppy is not ready to be on there own.
